EVA Air and its suppliers have developed together, supporting each other and growing together through the partnership. To provide better quality and service while at the same time striving towards sustainability, we have formulated strategies for the development of a sustainable supply chain in accordance with the procurement procedures manual. Safety, quality, price, delivery, service and sustainability are clearly defined, and suppliers are invited to participate and invest, and share in innovation opportunities through mutual cooperation.

To strengthen suppliers’ understanding of corporate sustainability and related issues, education and training materials are developed on aspects such as global carbon reduction trends, and sustainable supply chain management. In 2025, a total of 209 suppliers completed the training, achieving a 100% completion rate.

To strengthen suppliers' sustainability capabilities, EVA Air has hosted an annual Supplier Conference since 2021. In 2025, the conference was attended by 70 suppliers, including 27 Significant Suppliers. During the event, EVA Air shared its sustainability vision, goals, and progress in advancing sustainable supply chain management, while also communicating annual sustainability expectations for suppliers.
The conference also featured the EVA Sustainable Vision – Green Supply Chain Program awards ceremony, where outstanding suppliers were recognized for their sustainability performance. The top-performing supplier was invited to share its decarbonization achievements and best practices, encouraging broader supplier participation in energy conservation and carbon reduction initiatives.
In addition, external experts delivered presentations on sustainable supply chain management, covering topics such as global decarbonization trends and sustainable procurement practices. Through knowledge sharing and dialogue, EVA Air aims to strengthen suppliers' understanding of sustainable supply chain development and encourage the integration of sustainability considerations into future product development and corporate policies, fostering long-term collaboration toward sustainable business development.

To support the International Air Transport Association (IATA) industry's commitment to achieving net zero carbon emissions by 2050 and advance EVA Air's own 2050 net zero commitment, EVA Air works closely with suppliers to identify opportunities for reducing carbon emissions across product manufacturing and service delivery processes. Through collaborative innovation, we aim to minimize carbon footprints and build a more sustainable supply chain.

In 2023, EVA Air launched the three-year EVA Sustainable Vision – Green Supply Chain Program, focusing on four strategic themes: Green Energy Savings, Green Circular Economy, Green Energy Usage, and Green Transportation. Participating suppliers establish measurable targets and performance indicators under these themes based on their own manufacturing processes or service operations. In 2025, the program received 10 proposals, which will be evaluated in 2026 based on verified carbon reduction performance and supporting documentation.

At the 2025 Supplier Conference, EVA Air also presented the 2024 Green Supply Chain Program awards. The top-performing supplier shared its decarbonization achievements and best practices, including upcycling retired uniforms and wooden pallets, implementing an energy management system, expanding the use of renewable energy and low-carbon fuels, and electrifying equipment. These initiatives achieved annual carbon reductions of 3,086 tCO₂e. Through knowledge sharing and recognition, EVA Air encourages more suppliers to participate in decarbonization initiatives and jointly build a sustainable green supply chain.

EVA Air’s main operating locations are in Taiwan. Through active collaboration with local suppliers, we have created more local employment opportunities and reduced the carbon footprint generated by our procurement. In addition to promoting local sourcing at our operating locations in Taiwan, we are extending this practice at our international operating locations. By doing this, we build competitive supply chains both domestically and abroad. In 2025, EVA Air’s local procurement rate at domestic operating locations was 71%, and 72% at foreign operating locations.
